Sleek Eye & Cheek Palettes - All Day Soiree & Midsummer's Dream

For years now since I can remember I have been using sleek products. Their blush was one of the first make-up products I ever bought. The brand caters for all skin tones at affordable prices giving you great coverage and high pigmentation. I was extremely happy to receive these two palettes through a competition I won at work. In this post I will be reviewing one palette 'All Day Soiree' and showing you a simple make-up look I created using the palette.

This eye and cheek palette provide all of your colour essentials in one convenient compact. It contains four eye-shadows and two blushers.

All Day Soiree is made to refresh any beauty look, It's shimmering peach and beige hues create a delicate feminine finish. The on trend blush shades of creamy champagne and pastel pink provide a healthy flush to cheeks. Both the eye-shadows and blushers are highly pigmented, long lasting and easy to blend. The packaging is in a sleek handy travel sized compact with a mirror and two essential brushes.

All Day Soiree Make-up Look

In this picture I started off priming my eyelids with Urban decays primer potion. I would suggest using a eye primer especially if you are dark skin as it makes the shadow colour pop more. I then used the darkest orange colour from the palette (Top Right) on the inner part of my lids, Then the shimmery orange shade to the left of that to my outer lid. I then used the matte brown colour on my crease (Bottom Left) making sure to blend it all in well. The shade to the right of that I used to highlight under my brow bone. I then used the shimmery gold blush colour (Top) to highlight the top of my cheek bones. The pink blush colour I used on the apples of my cheeks.

If you have any other questions about this post or anything about the look i created please comment below.

Zoella Beauty 'Tutti Fruity' Range

After hearing a lot of hype about Zoella's new range coming out. I was excited to try them out and show some support as it is a huge achievement. She started blogging things that she loves just like me and now has her own beauty range and book deals. Slightly jel but i honestly do admire her hard work. Every bloggers dream I'm sure!

There are seven products in the new range. They are incredibly affordable with the most expensive product costing £8.00 whilst the lowest is only £3.00! The whole range is available at most major Superdrug stores. The whole range is made to make you feel refreshed and revitalised.

I decided to pick a few items from the range to give my readers my honest thoughts...

Zoella Candy Cream Body Lotion - £5.00

This candy cream is packed with bursting beads and extracts of Acai and Blueberry to pamper and protect your skin.

The first thing that mainly made me pick it off the shelf was the packaging. Its cute and very summery, I love the colours and decoration. I'm a huge fan of body creams and keeping my skin soft and moisturised so it was a must try for me. The smell is lovely and sweet not too over powering. The actual cream itself is really soft and soaks in quickly so you don't feel sticky after applied. Although I have quite dry skin if i applied the cream in the morning and I wore shorts or a skirt, I would have to opt for a different cream with more moisture or have to keep reapplying this cream to avoid dryness. But I'm sure if  you don't suffer with dry skin then you should be fine.

This cleansing shower gel is said to help soften and soothe the skin again it contains extracts of Acai and Blueberry, leaving you feeling refreshed ad energised.

Again packaging is very cute and eye catching. The gel is a pretty pearly pink colour. The shower gel is nice on my skin its a bit sweet but was expecting it to be a stronger more fruitier scent and for me the foam as described was none existent although the shower gel on a whole did clean my skin and left me feeling refreshed. At it's price you simply get what you pay for.

This little adorable treat is said to transform your bath into a fragrant, fruity soak to leave your skin feeling refreshed and re-energised.

I'm a huge fan of Lush bath bombs so couldn't resist picking this item up to try it out. Once opened it looks like a bar of chocolate accept its white. As it hits the water it dissolves quickly and doesnt give much of a colour change and also doesn't add any bubbles. It does have a sweet scent at first but it doesn't last very long.

Overall the Zoella beauty range is great for the age group it is aimed for. I'm sure it will make a great gift to any teenage girl or younger. My favourite item out of the three product i bought was the cream. My worst will be the bath bomb as it doesn't do much for me!

Let me know what you think... have you tried any products in this range?

Superdrug Coconut Water Shampoo, Conditioner & Hair Therapy Oil With Coconut

Hey! Hope you are all well. I received my latest hamper from Superdrug last week as I am a Superdrug insider. Im always thrilled to receive and test out any new products they send me. Everything in Superdrug's beauty range carry the leaping bunny symbol. All products are cruelty free. This is my first time trying any shampoo or conditioner from Superdrug's own brand.

Fresh coconut water is by far one of my favourites drinks. Ever since I went to the Caribbean a few years back I fell in love! I would literally drink it everyday if I could. Not only does it taste good it boosts hydration, gives you great skin and is very rich in nutrients.  Coconut is the scent of summer. Just think... lounging on the beach somewhere tropical and sipping a Malibu and pineapple... Superdrug have captured this in a new haircare trio which promises hydration without leaving residue.

Hydrate & Shine Shampoo takes coconut water to help hydrate the driest of hair leaving no residue leaving the hair feeling soft and smooth. The product provides gentle yet effective cleansing and adds shine for healthy-looking hair.

I wear virgin human hair extensions and as everyone knows they can get dry and dull looking after a few weeks. At the moment i have a loose wave pattern in. I used this shampoo through my real hair and extensions and it is amazing! My hair feels clean, weightless and soft and my scalp feels good too. Its not expensive and I just love the coconut smell.

To add even more shine and softness, Use the coconut water shampoo. This will help replenish and rejuvenate the hair adding softness and shine. Make sure you leave it in the hair for abouut 3-5 minutes for best results.

Specially developed for dry hair. The Hair Therapy Oil with coconut water gives the hair an instant boost of shine and seals in moisture. Hair is left touchably soft and looks healthier with each use. All of this is done without any added residue, so that hair is not weighed down. It naturally leaves hair replenished and conditioned.

Superdrug have done it again. They do a great job providing products that do a great job, cruelty free at jaw dropping prices. I love that these products add shine and softness without adding any residue so hair is not weighed down. Instead my hair was left feeling full and light.

Thinking of using any of these products or used them already? Would love to hear your thoughts. Please leave a comment below for any questions.

Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Pure Hollywood' Liquid Lipstick

For so long now I have been admiring Anastasia Beverly Hill's products on Instagram and YouTube. I already managed to get the Dip brow Pomade last year as it was selling on a UK make-up website. Since their release I have have been patiently waiting for the Liquid Lipsticks and Cream Contour Kits to be available in the UK at a reasonable price! Quite frankly I couldn't wait any longer I saw one of my favourite YouTube Guru's from Australia wearing Pure Hollywood and It was just a instant reaction for me to get it! It looked gorgeous on her.
On my hunt to get myself this lippy. Firstly I went to the actual Anastasia Beverly Hills website and not to my surprise it was sold out... Luckily I found a MUA on Depop (the app) who was selling this brand new in the box. I ended up paying £27 including postage. Its a bit much but totally worth it!

Pure Hollywood appears on my lips as a cool toned beige with a slight hint of pink. I was a little worried being dark skinned the colour would be too light for me. But it was perfect. The formula is very lightweight and doesn't leave lips feeling dry or bitty like other liquid lipsticks, Once applied, it sets in under a minute and stays on for hours. The longest staying lipstick I own and all you need is one coat. I can apply in the morning go to work and lipstick will still be on by the evening. Once it sets, it is smudge and budge proof. If your a fan of nude lips I would highly suggest you try this colour! I will definitely be trying out different colours from this collection. I'm in love!

This is me wearing Pure Hollywood in natural light. I applied a thick outlining using Barry M Lip Liner in chocolate 6. Let me know what you think. If you need any other details about this look please comment below.

Nike Air Max 90 | All White

I have been eyeing up all white trainers for awhile now. From Huarache's to the classic Nike Air Force one's. I just fancied some cute and comfy trainers to throw on when I have time off. I have an obsession with Nike. Although I saw Pharrel's new Adidas Supercolor collection on every trainer website I went on. I don't think they can compare to any Nike trainer. I'm just not feeling them so I will not be hopping on that trend anytime soon!

White trainers never go out of style and they make any simple all white outfit pop. These trainers originally released in 1990 have a graduated mid-sole for cushioning and are really comfy to wear. I have had a lot of compliments on them when I wore them. Which is a plus because I'm usually a heels/pump kinda girl. So if your looking for some comfy and on trend shoes right now and you are not sure which ones to buy. I highly suggest these!

What is your favourite pair of trainers right now?
